Parish Church 1835-41 by Robert Palmer Brown of Royal Hill, Greenwich; chancel
added in 1872. In a Neo-Norman style. Brown brick with stone dressings.
West portico, nave, with tower over west end and chancel. Tall triple-arched
portico with side arches on cluster piers. Gable over with kneelers and cross
finial. Nave with tall round-arched windows with margin-glazing and parapet,
divided by shallow buttresses with gable-hoods, Tower over west end, projecting
slightly, with round-arched belfry openings enclosing double-lights. Crenellated
and machicolated parapet. Projecting chancel in similar style. Interior:
Plain with west gallery. East window with Burne-Jones by Morris & Co.
