Barn and oasthouse. Barn probably early 18th century altered in early 19th
century when the oasthouse was added. Timber-framed barn clad in weatherboarding
except for gable end opposite oasthouse which is of brick with tile hanging
to gable. Half-hipped pegtiled roof 2 storeys with central cart entrances and
3 later casements to southwest elevation. Internally the barn is of 5 bays
with oak frame with staggered purlins, collar beam and no ridge piece. Some
diagonal and curved tension braces. Jowled upright posts. Oasthouse added
at end is conical of red brick with grey headers in Flemish bond with cogged
eaves cornice and pyramidal roof with cowl and fantail.
