House. C16 or earlier, clad C18. Timber framed and clad with red and blue
brick with tile hanging to return elevation with plain tiled roof. Hall house
plan in origin. One storey and attic and two storeyed end bay, with plinth,
hipped roof and gablets, especially prominent to right, and stack with moulded
cap to centre left and projecting at end right. Two hipped half-dormers with 3
light wooden casements and smaller 3 light wooden casement to right on 1st
floor, and 3 segmentally headed three-light wooden casements on ground floor,
that to right smaller and set at lower level. Door of 4 panels to centre left
in wooden porch with valancing. Catslide outshot to rear with 3 stacks, hipped
and gabled dormers, boarded door and casement windows on ground floor.
Interior: largely C19 in decorative character, no older features easily visible.
