House. C16, clad and extended C18. Timber framed and clad with red and blue
chequered brick base and tile hanging on first floor, with weather-boarded left
return. Plain tiled roof. Lobby entry plan of 3 framed bays, extended with 1 bay
to left. Two storeys on plinth, with roof line stepped down to left with hipped
double span, otherwise tile hung gabled. Moulded stack cluster to centre right
with angled flues and stack projecting at end left. Three 3-light and one 2-light
casement to centre right on first floor and 2 tripartite glazing bar sashes, with
single glazing bar sash to right on ground floor. Half-glazed door to centre
right in simple surround. Single storey hipped extension to right with present
main entrance in hipped, columned porch. Catslide outshot to rear. A working
furnace was recorded here at least from the C16.
