Cottage pair. C16 or earlier, clad and altered mid C19. Timber-framed and tile
hung on red and blue chequered brick ground floor, with plain tiled roof. Lobby
entry plan with cross-wings. Two storeys, with projecting gabled C19 wing to top,
and with hip end of 3 storeyed cross-wing to right. Stacks at end left, to rear
right and clustered to centre right. Left end wing with large 3-light wooden
casement on each floor and panelled door to right. Main range with 2 metal case-
ments on each floor and central wooden casement on 1st floor, with boarded door to
centre right in raking porch. Tall 3 storeyed wing at right with steeply pitched
hipped roof. Substantial frame reported.
