House, now with shop. Mid C16. Timber-framed, rendered with applied framing,
with weather boarded return elevations on red brick ground floor. Plain tiled
roof. Four framed bay continuous jetty houseplan. Two storeys and garret, with
painted stone base to right. Continuous jetty with moulded bressummer on
brackets. Roof half-hipped to left, hipped to right, with moulded stack cluster
to centre right. Four metal casements on 1st floor and 2 to right on ground
floor, with C19 shop front to left, with large plate-glass sashes and half-glazed
door with rectangular fanlight. Half hipped door to centre right, with flight of
4 steps and landing, with large flat hood on brackets. The door surround is
moulded with full-height attached shafts with moulded capitals. Catslide outshot
to rear.
