House. C16 or earlier, altered 1622 and c.1900. Timber framed and exposed
close studding with plaster infill, with plain tiled roof. End jettied hall
house, floored in and extended with cross-wing 1622. Two storeys on red brick
base, with jetty to end left, and eaves stepped down to centre (to form storey
and half) with hipped cross-wing to right, the hip projecting on carved brackets
with pendants supporting moulded bressummer. Half-hipped main roof with gablet
and stacks to rear right and tall central moulded cluster, with diagonal section
fillet and cornices. Gabled semi-dormer to centre left with bargeboards and
dated 1622. Gabled porch to centre right, c.1900, with boarded door. Three 3
light wooden casements on each floor.
