GV II
Cottage pair. Circa 1700, possibly earlier core. Red brick and tile hung on
1st floor with plain tiled roof. Two storeys on sandstone base, with stacks
projecting and offset at end left, and clustered, moulded and twice offset at
end right. Four wooden casements on 1st floor, and 3 on ground floor, with
boarded doors to left and to right. Single storey outshots projecting to left
and to right, returns. Interior: many of the fittings and brick flooring
survive from C18 and early C19.
