Hillside Farmhouse
GV II
House. Circa 1600 or earlier. Timber framed and clad with red brick on ground
floor in English Bond and tile hung on 1st floor with plain tiled roof. Two
storeys and half-hipped roof, with gablets, and with large stack cluster to
centre right. Three wooden casements on 1st floor of 3, 2 and 3 lights and 2
three light wooden casements on ground floor with central half glazed door in
gabled porch. Catslide outshot of brick to rear with small stack. Interior:
stop chamfered ceiling joists and inglenook fireplaces.
