16/358 The Clearing
GV II
House. Early C18, or earlier, altered and extended mid C19. Rendered with plain
tiled roof and extended with rendered and weather-boarded wing. Two storeys with
plat-cornice to parapet with stacks to end left and to end right, with hipped
single storey extension to left. Two glazing bar sashes on each floor with
another in left hand outshot. Two storey and garret wing to right, bargeboarded
with stack to left, with glazing bar sash in gable head, and to right on first
floor, with small sash to left over half-glazed panelled door with open-pedimented
doorcase, on pilasters and brackets. French window to right with gabled porch.
