Chest tomb to Gunther family. Early C20. Originally on a railed platform, with
inset inscriptions to Gunther family. Chest tomb of C18 pattern, but much
enriched, with lugged and eared side panels with bead and reel moulding; urn-
shaped corner piers, enriched with acanthus leaf, and end panels with elaborate
arms cartouche. Moulded top slab. Inscriptions to various members of Gunther
family (C E Gunther of Tongswood, acquired 1902) from 1890 onwards.
