House, sometime cottage pair. Mid C18. Red brick ground floor, tile hung on
first floor with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and garret on plinth with half-
hipped roof, the hip ends with moulded cornices, and with stacks to left and to
right. Four 3-light wooden casements on each floor, with 2 central 2-light case-
ments on first floor, and doors of 2 panels to left and to right in moulded
architraves with flat hoods on brackets. Catslide outshot with C20 hipped wing to
rear. Dated on several bricks, the earliest inscribed: G G 1766. Large brick
fireplaces and chamfered joists to interior.
