GV II
House pair. C16, altered and extended late C19. Timber framed and clad and
extended with red and blue chequered brick and tile hanging. Plain tiled roof.
Probable hall house origin. Two storeys and garret on plinth, with hipped roof to
right hand (older range) with stack to right. Projecting gabled wing to left,
also 2 storeys and garret on plinth with rear stack. Two wooden casements on each
floor to left with central half-glazed door in gabled porch, and 4 wooden case-
ments on first floor and 3 on ground floor to right hand block, with half-glazed
door to centre left in gabled porch. Rear with irregularly projecting wings of
various dates. The rear wing of the projecting C19 block is earlier and runs-on
from the earlier right hand block, with stack in English bond brickwork, at least
C17.
