House. C16. Timber framed and weather boarded with plain tiled roof. Hall house
origin. Two storeys with roof half-hipped to right with slight gablet, gabled to
left with projecting stack and with stack cluster to centre right. Two metal
casements on each floor with central gabled porch, now with wooden casement.
Single storey range with outshut to left with wooden casement and C20 extension to
right. Present entry to rear, in catslide outshut with gabled rear wing.
Interior: fully framed interior, with quirk and tongue stop-chamfered beams, and
large sandstone and red brick main fireplaces, and large inglenook to end right
stack.
