GV II
House. Late C16. Timber framed and tile hung with plain tiled roof. Lobby entry
plan of three framed bays and fire bay. Two storeys and garret with half-hipped
roof and tall stack cluster to centre left. Two 4 light leaded mullioned wooden
casements with mullioned sidelights on 1st floor, with 3 light casement to centre
left and 4 light mullioned leaded casements to centre right and to left on ground
floor (with mullioned sidelights exposed to interior). Boarded door to centre
left in large hipped porch. Catslide outshut to rear. Interior: roof with
clasped purlin, diminshed principal rafters and windbraces. Large scantling
chamfered beams throughout and large brick inglenook fireplaces.
