House. C16 or earlier, clad and extended mid C20. Timber framed and clad with
red brick on ground floor and weather boarded on 1st floor and with plain tiled
roof. Hall house origin. Two storeys, the early portion to left with tall,
steeply pitched hipped roof with gablets and central moulded stack cluster, the
roof stepped down to right and projecting slightly. Six wooden casements on 1st
floor, the 2 to left at a slightly lower level and 5 on ground floor, the centre 2
with mullions and transoms, and with boarded door in side of hipped porch to
centre left. The fenestration C20. The right hand extension obscures exposed
framing and outshut recorded on the old Provisional List.
