Oasthouse about 20 metres north of Church Cottage

Oasthouse. Early C19 altered mid C20. Timber framed and weather boarded stowage with corrugated iron roof, and red brick and yellow stock brick roundels with plain tiled roofs. Four storey stowage with shallow pitched roof, with two wooden casements on each floor in left return gable end, and with loft door over doubled cart doors. Three metal casements on long side elevations, with corrugated iron gantrys carried around the four roundels at right, each with cowl and winding vane intact. The roundels, and indeed the stowage with earlier structure encased within, despite the external accretions remain intact and in use.
