House. C15 part rebuilt early C17, clad and extended C18-C19. Timber framed and
clad and extended with painted brick on ground floor with exposed frame on first
floor with plaster infill with tile hung return and rear elevations. Plain tiled
roof. Hall house origin. Two storeys and garret on plinth with half-hipped roof with
gablets and stack cluster to centre laft. Two 3 light wooden casements on each
floor and central half-glazed door with gabled hood on brackets. Single storey
extension to left with wooden casement. Catslide outshot to rear. Interior: reported
evidence of hall house (smoke blackened roof timbers), with service end rebuilt C17;
inglenook fireplaces.
