1350-0/7/11 Field Farmhouse
GV II
House. Probably late Medieval hall-house with late C16
chimneystack, refronted in early C19. Timber-framed building
refronted in red brick on ground floor and tile-hung on 1st
floor but with close-studding with plaster infill and moulded
bressumer to jetty exposed on left hand side. Steeply pitched
old tiled roof with late C16 ribbed brick chimneystack. 2
storeys: 4 windows. Casement windows. C20 weatherboarded
extensions to rear. Interior has roll-moulded beams to parlour
and open fireplace.
