Cottage, originally house later subdivided. C16 or earlier
timberframed house with cross wing, extended in C17 or in C18
to rear. Ground floor red brick, 1st floor weatherboarded to
front elevation with applied framing and tile hung gable to
left side elevation. Tiled roof with massive late C16 stepped
brick chimneystack. 2 storeys and attics in gable end; 3
windows. C20 casements and simple C20 half-glazed door.
Interior has C17 parlour fireplace and exposed beams. C17 roof
with through purlins and no ridgepiece. Some old floor boards.
2 plank door to bathroom.
