Mount Hall Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse. C16 or earlier timber-framed building refronted in
early C19. Clad in weatherboarding with hipped tiled roof and
tall brick chimneystack. Left hand side jettied with plastered
base. 2 storeys; 3 windows. C19 casements windows and penticed
C10 porch. Interior has Dining Room with open fireplace and 3
plank door. Kitchen retains old window with diamond mullions.
Staircase has 5 solid oak treads and winder staircase above
with C17 newel post. Jowled posts. 1st floor room has complete
pargetted wall decoration. Shutter groove remains in framing
of right side end wall.
