House. Cellars incorporate remains of a C17 or earlier house
but otherwise an early C19 rebuild. Red brick with grey
headers in diaper pattern with hipped tiled roof and 2 brick
stacks. 2 storeys 3 windows to entrance front, 2 storeys 4
windows to garden front, including 1 bay mid C19 extension.
Modillion eaves cornice. Entrance front has left side 12-pane
sash, central 24-pane tripartite window and right side 20-pane
tripartite window, cambered head linings to ground floor
windows, with flat hood on brackets, 4 flush panelled door. 1
storey brick extension to right. Garden front has central
12-pane sash, flanked by 24-pane tripartite windows and
matching window to left side extension. Cambered head linings
to ground floor windows. Doorcase with flat hood on brackets
and pilasters. Sandstone cellars with brick arches and roll
moulded beam eappear to be the ground floor of an earlier
house, later adapted into wine cellars.
