Early C19. 3 storeys colour-washed. Parapet with coping. 4 sashes with
glazing bars intact having wooden cills. Early Cl9 shopfronts. No 21 has
panelled risers.

Nos 1 to 4 (consec) and Nos 7 to 21 (consec) form a grade II group.
Also forms a group with Nos 72 to 74 (consec) and St Mary Northgate
Hall, Northgate.
