Early to mid C19. 2 storeys and attics stuccoed, the ground floor rusticated.
Half-hipped slate roof with 3 curved dormers. Long and short quoins (some vermiculated)
and vermiculated stringcourse. 3 sashes with glazing bars intact set in moulded
architraves with stops. Central round-headed doorcase in Gibbs surround with semi-
circular fanlight. Steps to street.

Hinkley and No 40 form a group with Nos 24 and 26 York Rcad.
