Former farmhouse. C15 timber framd house. Centre and 2 slightly projecting wings.
The wings have been rebuilt in red brick on the ground floor. The whole of the
1st floor is now hung with curved tiles. Timbering with upright studs still exported
on the ground floor of the centre with the 1st floor above jettied on the protruding
ends of the floor joists. This overhang is now also supported on 2 added curved
braces. Timbering with curved braces is also visible on the 1st floor of the south
wall. Tiled roof. Modern casement windows. At the back a wing in red brick has
been added in the C17 which makes the whole building now an L-shape.
