Listing Text

North and South Tythe Barn
TR 16 NW 4/89 2.8.76.
This building, now 2 homes, has been much altered but it wears the appearance
of a C17 2 storey house except that it has a very steep roof indicative of the
C15 as well as timbers visible upon the south elevation which may have been brought
from elseshere. There are a number of dormers, timbers planted on and the roof
is tiled but part thatched.
