The present building is C17. Two storeys and attics in gable ends. Red brick.
Tiled roof. Two modern casement windows. Simple doorcase. Two small gables
to east front. The manor of Sappington belonged at one time in the C16 to
Sir William Cranmer, brother of the Archbishop and Governor of the Merchant
Adventurers.
