16/727 Barn At Whiteacre Farm


Barn, Late C16 re-raftered in C19. Oak framed aisled barn of 3 bays clad in
weatherboarding with C19 knapped flint plinth: lean-to to north of knapped flint
with brick quoins.Half-hipped roof originally thatched but now mostly clad in
corrugated iron but part of west side and central porched cart entrance and lean-
to peg-tiled. Clasped collar purlin roof with wind braces. Face halved
passing brace to aisled framing. Jowled posts.
