Legal chambers and shop. Circa 1840. Stock brick, part rendered. Three storeys and basement, with horizontally rusticated base, cill band and parapet. Two window bays on second and first floors to left (Cavendish Street), three to George Street, all with glazing bar sashes with segmental heads (right hand window spaces to Cavendish Street blank). Curved corner piece, slightly recessed, with larger curved glazing bar sash on second and first floors. Two tripartite sashes to each front on ground floor, with plate glass bow window and glazed door with rectangular fanlight to right to No. 2 George Street (end right). Double-panelled door with rectangular fanlight and two steps on corner piece, with half-glazed inner doors. Two basement sashes to left, and rendered wall to left with boarded door to back yard.
