House, now shops and flats. Early C18, altered late C19. Yellow brick
with red brick dressings and rendered side elevations. Three storeys,
originally only 2, with modillion eaves cornice now to 2nd floor, with
parapet. Three sashes in 2nd floor. Five segmentally headed glazing
bar sashes to 1st floor with gauged red brick segmental surrounds.
Plate glass shop fronts to left and to right, with glazed doors
recessed to centre left and to centre right, with overall fascia on
pilaster strips. Central recessed double half-glazed doors with round
heads. Interior:geometric staircase with wreathed and moulded handrail
on open string, with simple balusters. Marked on Collard and Hurst
(1822) and probably 1735 plan of Ramsgate (Busson, 70).
