Terrace house pair, now hotel. 1798-1801. White stock brick, in part
rendered, with concrete pantiled roof. Four storeys with basement,
with rusticated ground floor and parapet to roof with stack to left.
Each house with 2 sashes with painted gauged heads to 2nd and 3rd floor,
and 2 tripartite French doors on 1st floor with top lights, with tented
verandah to left (No. 11) and raking balcony to right (No. 10), both
with pierced wrought iron piers, with simple rails to right and iron
balusters to left. C20 metal casement to No. 10 with glazed door to
right with semi-circular fanlight with reeded and moulded surround,
with 2 sashes and fixed half-glazed door to No. 4 in moulded and reeded
surround, both doors with flights of 5 steps. Glazing bar sash and
boarded outer door to basement at No. 10, and half glazed door to No. 11
basement. Spear-head rails with urn finial principals. The other 16
houses in the Crescent were all built separately, those 2 being
structurally of 1 build.
