Newlands Farm
Barn. C18 or earlier. Brick and flint with thatched and part tiled
roof. Half-hipped roof with half-hipped tiled mid-strey to centre
left. Irregularly constructed ground floor. Aisled interior. The
farm complex was a grange of St. Augustine's Abbey, Canterbury, and
another barn (demolished) was amongst the largest of the ancient timber
barns of Kent.
