Hotel. 1860's. Rendered with interlocking tiled roof. Four storeys
and basement with rusticated base with cill bands and rusticated quoins
to left hand block, slightly projecting and with modillion eaves cornice
to hipped roof with stacks to left and to centre right. Right hand
block with 3 sashes on 3rd floor in moulded surrounds, 3 on 2nd floor
with cornices on brackets, 3 French doors with tented verandah with
valancing, trellised piers and cast iron rails. Canted bay to right
and glazed porch. Left hand block with tripartite sashed windows on
each floor (French windows to first floor) with pilasters and segmental
pediment on 2nd floor, tented verandah with cast iron piers and rails
on large consoles. Full height canted bay on left return and single
storey Doric columned porch. Three storey rendered block to rear left
with canted bays. Railed area to whole building with spear head rails
with pomegranate finialled principals.
