Terrace row. 1860's. Rendered with slate roof. Four storeys, attic
and basement with rusticated base. Moulded string courses and quoins
to end right to modillion eaves cornice. Stacks to end left, centre right
and rear end right. Flat roofed dormers to end right (No. 5). Three
bays to each unit (9 bays in all), sashes on 3rd floor in moulded
surrounds and to 2nd floor with brackets and bracketted cornices and
pediments to central windows to left and right, the central windows
to No. 3 with balconies at both 3rd and 2nd floor level, with French
windows. French windows throughout on 1st floor with continuous
tented verandah with trellised piers and scrolled rails. Two sashes to
left with balconettes, central canted bay with tripartite sash and 3
sashes to right on ground floor and to basement. Two half-glazed
doors to centre left in recessed doorways with ramped walls to steps.
Right return with 2 full height canted bays, with central single
sashes, the details carried across from main elevation, with segmental
and triangular pedimented windows on 2nd and 1st floors, that to centre
enriched, and central half-glazed door. Spear headed rails to whole
basement area.
