C18. Rendered elevation. 2.3.2 window facade. 2 storeys. Centre
pedimented feature slightly projecting. Plinth and band above ground floor
windows. Projecting moulded dentilled cornice and parapet. Hipped slate
roof with 2 tall rendered stacks with dentilled cornices. Sash windows,
some with glazing bars removed. Centre projecting one storey porch with
rusticated grooved lines in imitation of stone courses, and flat pilasters
supporting moulded entablature with dentilled cornice. Parapet and flat roof
to porch. Centre panelled door with rectangular recessed rendered panel over.
Sash window on either side of door.

Historic Associations

Kippington House was originally the home of the Farnaby family and there was
an earlier Jacobean house on this site. Some of the coach buildings to rear =
of the present house date from the C17.
