House, now a restaurant. Early C18. Painted stucco on brick;
Kent tile roof. 2 storeys; 2-window range. 2 gabled dormers
with Yorkshire sashes and bargeboarding. Projecting wooden eaves
cornice. 1st floor with rusticated quoins and window
architraves, the latter with cambered arches; 4 pane horned
sashes. C19 shop front under dentil cornice, panelled plinth,
the door, half glazed with margin panes. rear: gabled roof with
lower C18 weatherboarded wing. Interior: some contemporary
carpentry including unchamfered ceiling beam.
