GV I
Gateway into cloister from Precinct. C12 and C15. Coursed
ragstone. Archway, quoined, with battlements, the merlons coped.
Side walls fragmentary. To the cloister side (see above ref
9/188) remains of a Norman room with triple shafts to corners
(the vault gone), possibly the undercroft of the cellarer's
lodging.
