House with shops formerly a public house. Early C19 with some
later alterations. Brick (the front painted above, stuccoed to
ground floor; Welsh slate roof. Front: symmetrical 3-window
front. Coped parapet. Outer windows to upper floors with 12 and
16-pane sashes in reveals under flat arches; centre windows under
elliptical arches, that to 1st floor blank, 2nd floor with 9-pane
sash. Ground floor: small dentil cornice and string course above
3 doorways and 2 windows connected by continuous hood mould.
Round-headed doorways with deep reveals, half-glazed doors under
fanlights; windows under elliptical arches, renewed casements
with glazing bars. Sash windows to right return.
