Former house, now offices. Early to mid.C18 with C19
alterations. Timber-framed with brick cladding and
weatherboarding; Kent tile Mansard roof. Main range with central
baffle entry, and rear outshut (under catslide roof) containing
stairs; ridge stack. Ancillary range to left (single storeyed),
now offices. 2 storeys and attic. Front: almost symmetrical 3-
window range. 2 flat-roofed dormers have Yorkshire sashes with
glazing bars. 1st floor with one central 12-pane and 2 flanking
16-pane sashes in revealed frames; 2 tripartite 4:12:4-pane sash
window to either side of half-glazed door. Another (inserted)
half-glazed door to left now forms the principal entrance. Left-
hand single-storeyed wing with a Victorian canted bay window and
left-hand entrance with porch. Yorkshire sash windows to rear.
Interior: some shallow chamfered ceiling beams, and chamfered
fire surround to left-hand room. Barley-sugar balusters (2 to
each tread) to rear stairs. Some original planked doors with a
variety of C18 hinges.
