Public house. Early C17 with later alterations. Timber-framed
with brick cladding to ground floor, weatherboarding above.
Kent-tile gable-end roof. 3-unit, baffle entry plan (the stack
could be an insertion into a former cross-passage), with services
to left and rear. 2 storeys with attic, the 1st floor jettied.
Front: 3-window range. 2-light casement to dormer and stack
breaking front slope of roof. 1st floor windows with 12-pane
horned sashes in revealed frames. 5 similar horned sashes to
ground floor, paired at right. 2 half-glazed doors. Interior:
some chamfered cceiling beams. Roof space not accessible. C20
single-storeyed extensions to the rear.
