House. C16 of 2 builds, with late C18 left side elevation and
C20 rear extensions. Timber framed with plaster infilling,
painted brick left side elevation and plain tile roof. 2 storeys.
Right section jettied along front and on right gable end.
Widely spaced studs with tension braces. Hipped roof. Ridge
stack to left. Irregular fenestration of 3 leaded C20 casement
windows. C20 canted bay window on ground floor. Remains of
wood mullion windows on ground floor and first floor at right
end of front elevation. Cupola with bell on ridge of roof
to right. Left section forms wide gabled cross-wing. 2 storeys
3 timber-framed bays. Front elevation: close-studded, with
jettied first floor. Crown-post with two curved downward braces
forms decorative gable with a small jetty above the collar
purlin, apendent and renewed cusped bargeboards. Large stack
towards rear of wing. One leaded first-floor casement window,
C20 canted bay window on ground floor. Door to right. Left
side elevation painted brick, 2 storeys with parapet, incorpora-
ting C18 brick stack projecting from side of cross-wing and
situated towards the front. Interior: right section has queen-
strut roof. Both sections have small areas of wall painting.
C19 panelling with occasional floral stencils in entrance hall.
