TQ 76 SE BREDHURST THE STREET

Partly in Boxley Parish. House. Mid C18 front to a possibly
earlier building, with C19 addition and alterations. Right
section: Mid C18. Chequered red and grey brick with plain
tile roof. 2 storeys and attics on brick plinth with eaves
plat band and wood eaves cornice. Brick end stacks. 2 plain
dormers. Regular 3-window front of sashes, the central one
slightly narrower. Central panelled door with arched top
panels and narrow rectangular fanlight under lean-to canopy
with plain tile roof and carved brackets on corbelled brick-
work. Left section: C19. Red brick in Flemish bond with plain
tile roof. 2 storeys with eaves plat band and wood eaves
cornice. Large rear stack. Regular 2-window front of glazing
bar sashes breaking through eaves. Single storey extension to
left in red brick with some grey headers. The left hand half of
this building is in Boxley C.P.
