House. Rear wing early C17, main range 1769, altered in early C19.
Ground floor grey headers with red brick dressings,first floor
tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys on stone plinth with moulded
wood eaves cornice. Roof half-hipped to right. Red brick ridge
stack to left end and rear stack to right. Irregular fenestration
of one small painted window towards lift end. Rest of
facade double-fronted; central glazing-bar sash with tripartite
sash on either side. Canted bay windows on red brick bases to
ground floor. Half-glazed and panelled door off-centre to right,
but central to double front, up 4 steps, with flat corniced
bracketted hood. Plain handrails with fleur-de-lys to end shafts.
Datestone 1769 on chimney stack to left. Later 2-storey cottage
to left. Rear wing: timber-framed single bay. Interior: exposed
timbers.
