4/27 Cherry Tree Farmhouse

GV II
Farmhouse. Mid C18 with earlier core, altered late C19 and late
C20. Red brick with occasional grey headers in Flemish bond.
Timber framed core. Left end galletted stone. Plain tile roof.
2 storeys and attics on stone plinth, with moulded brick string-
course and boxed wood eaves. Roof half-hipped to left. Projecting
stack to right end. 2 hipped dormers. Regular fenestration of 3
slightly recessed glazing-bar sashes with horns. Ground floor
windows with rubbed brick voussoirs. Central panelled door with 2
vertical glazed lights under flat bracketted corniced hood up 2
steps. Interior: exposed timbers of C18, and re-used earlier timbers,
partially rebuilt in late C20 after damage.
