of Fairbourne Court)

Barn. C15 or early C16. Timber-framed, weatherboarded, on stone
plinth with half-hipped corrugated iron roof. Central C19 corrugated
iron canopies to front and rear. Interior: 4 bays, aisles to both
sides and to north end. Mortice for central post under north end
tie-beam. Arcade posts,on wood cills on stone plinths, with
gunstock jowls and curved braces to tie-beams and arcade plates. 2
curved passing shores survive in east aisle. West aisle ties
replaced, with curved struts from ends of ties to tops of arcade
posts. Plain crown-posts, each braced to collar purlin only.
Lapped collars. North end wall rebuilt in C18, south end bay rebuilt
C19.
