House, now house row. Early C17 and late C18, restored C20.
Timber framed with plaster infilling, right and left end bays
tile-hung, plain tile roof. Lobby entry plan. 2 storeys on
stone plinth. Close-studded, but some studs altered. Continuous
jetty to all but right and left end bays. Hipped roof, hip
returning along left side elevation. Brick ridge stack off-
centre to left and smaller brick stack to rear of left return
wing. Irregular fenestration of 6 casements; 4 of 2 lights, one
single light and one 4-light. Ribbed doors; to no. 2 beneath one
stack, and to Ash Cottage to right end of jettied section, both up
4 steps. Tile-hung lean-to to right end. Left return wing
probably late C18. Interiors not inspected.
