Bank and Surgery. Early C19 facade, possibly with earlier core.
Painted brick with plain tile roof. 2 storeys and cellar on
plinth. Facade in two builds, with straight joint down centre of
building; plat band to left half. Moulded wood eaves cornice.
Roof abuts No. 6 to left. Rear stack to right. Regular fenestration
of 2 glazing-bar sashes. C19 shop front to right half incorporating
half-glazed door with rectangular fanlight in left end. Cellar
hatch with segmental head under left ground-floor window. Interior
not inspected.
