II

Farmhouse. C17 and later. Timber-framed core. Ground floor stone,
first floor red brick in Flemish bond. Right gable end tile-hung
left gable end red brick on ground floor, tile-hung above. Lean-to
clad in stone and red brick. Plain tile roof. 4 bays with
integral timber-framed rear lean-to. Probably lobby entry. 2 storeys
on galleted stone plinth. Plain 2-storey buttress with brick plinth
at either end of front elevation and to front end of side
elevations. Roof hipped to left, half-hipped to right. Brick ridge
stack, rebuilt in mid C20, slightly off-centre to right. Irregular
fenestration of 4 C19 windows; one sash, 2 glazing-bar sashes
and one small casement. C20 French doors to left of centre. Blocked
central door. Interior: exposed timbers.
