House. C17 or earlier with early C19 alterations. Timber-framed,
with early C19 painted brick facade in Flemish bond. Rear
elevation and left end weatherboarded. Timber-framed rear wing
to right clad in painted brick on ground floor, tile-hung above
to front, rendered to rear. Slate roof. 2 storeys, with plat
band, and string below plain coped parapet. Small corner turret
to left, also banded, with conical roof, and probably formerly
one to right. Narrow central bay breaks forwards. Hipped roof.
Rear stack to left of centre of front range. Regular 3-window
front of 2 recessed tripartite sashes and one 2-light casement with
segmental heads. Loop lights to turret and to sides of central
break. Central panelled door with fluted Ionic pilasters and
flat corniced hood. Rear wing to right: 2 storeys and attics. with
steeply-pitched-roof, multiple brick ridge stack and irregular
fneestration. Interior not inspected.
