House, formerly Post Office, now house. Mid C16 with C19 facade.
Timber framed. Ground floor clad with red brick in Flemish bond,
first floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 timber-framed bays,
that to left shorter. 2 storeys on brick plinth. Continuous
jetty to present rear elevation and to left gable end. Hipped
roof. Slender projecting C20 brick stack towards right end. Mid
C16 projecting stone stack to present rear to left, with tumbled
brick-work to shoulders, English bond above, and remains of
moulded plinth to rebuilt upper flue. Irregular fenestration of
2 casements; one 2-light and one 3-light. C20 ribbed door off-
centre to left in C20 gabled brick porch. Interior: exposed
timbers. Evidence for diamond mullion window. Plain crown-post
with ogee braces.
